IMPERVA’S Discovery and Assessment Services (DAS) is now available in Australia.
According to Imperva, its DAS helps mitigate the risk of serious data breach by cataloguing sensitive data inside an internal IT environment.
Imperva says a 2008 Verizon Data Breach Investigation Report showed 90% of breaches was unknown to the businesses or were not aware of what type of data was accessed.
Imperva’s DAS maps the database by scanning the entire network including surface ‘rogue’ databases before identifying where sensitive data is located.
Imprva claims the DAS also provides a vulnerability assessment and a data risk analysis to identify the likeliness of a security breach.
