HONEYWELL has launched its energy-efficient ACUIX ES line of pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) cameras.
Operating on less than 15 watts of power, the ACUIX ES is an energy efficient model that offers ease of installation and operation.
At 20.32 centimetres, the ACUIX ES has a reduced footprint that fits into most surveillance environments.
According to the company, ACUIX ES simplifies installation by reducing the number of parts installers must order.
The camera includes an in-ceiling housing and a surface-mount configuration; installers can further reduce the profile by using an integral recessed mount. The surface-mount version also can be converted to a pendant mount by using an additional pendant top cap which comes supplied.
The camera also streamlines operations through Honeywell's IntelliBus technology, which allows users to remotely upload firmware to all domes and securely store all camera settings such as labels, presets, tours and privacy zones, the company said.
Designed for indoor applications, the ACUIX ES line includes an 18X auto-focus PTZ dome with 460 TVL and a fixed camera option utilising a 530 TVL camera with a 2.8-10 mm Vari-focal Auto Iris lens.
