Government launches Stay Smart Online to spread e-security awareness

THE AUSTRALIAN Federal Government has launched the Stay Smart Online initiative, designed to provide all Australian online users with practical tips and advice on e-security.

The Stay Smart Online website contains basic information on how users can secure their computers, and offers best practice tips for smart transacting online and information on keeping young people safe online.

The website is hosted by the Department of Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy and has received input and support from a range of other Australian Government agencies which have related responsibilities.
