Australia keeps computer security threats away

AN annual report released by Microsoft shows Australia’s overall computer infection rate has fallen by six percent.

The seventh annual Microsoft Security Intelligence Report shows 3.9 out of 1000 Australian computers were infected compared to the worldwide average of 8.7.The report also shows 70% of Australia’s computer security threats were malware.

Microsoft Australia told News.com.au the overall outcome for Australia is because Australians “love to update.”
