ADT Security New Zealand has appointed Ian Anderson as its general manager in addition to its role as general manager of Armourguard Security for New Zealand and Fiji.

ADT says Anderson will be responsible for managing ADT New Zealand’s portfolio and steering the business to growth in electronic security monitoring, manned security services and cash in transit businesses.

Anderson replaces ADT Security general manager for Australia, Mark Norton.

According to ADT, Norton will now focus on expanding business in Australia and growing the regional portfolio of access control and video surveillance in Asia Pacific.

Asia Pacific ADT Security president Robert Zhu is confident Anderson will be able to help the company grow.

"The new structure will enable us to capitalise fully on the terrific growth opportunities that New Zealand offers and ensure we continue to be the leader in integrated security solutions," he says.
